A new day and a new post, Recently I bought Nokia Lumia 1020 which is a windows phone and It was already updated on Windows 8.1 and I was so happy that I can now play with all the new features of Windows 8.1 and customize my home screen along with the launchers but I wasn’t aware that somethings might not work the way I want and after 20 mins I came to know that I will fix all things by myself. So I decided to write detailed articles on my blog so people struggling with the same issues can also take advantage of my solutions.
So what I experienced at first, If you are using an Android or iOS device it is much easier to transfer Google contacts using Google Contacts app but on Windows, it is not easy as it seems. Here goes my first article on how to use Google Contacts on Windows 8/8.1.
Follow the steps below and make sure you follow the method correctly else I cannot guarantee that you will be able to use Google Contacts on Windows Phones or not.
Step 1: Go to Main Menu > Settings
Step 2: Select email + accounts
Step 3: Select add an account.
Step 4: Choose Google from the list given there.
Step 5: Now sign in with your Google ID you want to import.
That’s all. Now after a successful session, you will see two options Calendar / Contacts. Just tap contacts and import your desired contact list to your Windows Phone.
